Points to note:
- Get HIV PEP treatment to stop getting a HIV infection after exposure to HIV. Only works if started within 72 hours from time exposure.
- Get HIV PrEP treatment to stop getting a HIV infection before exposure to HIV.
Sexual risk (of HIV/STD/pregnancy), and what you can do before and after exposure.
* Males: Do not urinate for at least 4 hours before arriving.
* Females: testing is more accurate when you are not menstruating.
