Depo-Provera® is the brand name of a drug owned by the company Pfizer. Medroxyprogesterone acetate is the generic name, abbreviated as MPA. It is a contraceptive injection used for contraceptive treatment.
Depo-Provera®, Depo-Medroxyprogesterone acetate (MPA), also known as depot medroxyprogesterone acetate (DMPA) is a contraceptive injection that is an available option to females to prevent pregnancy.
