In the end of September, some positive news came from South Africa on the topic of HIV and Covid-19<\/a>. South Africa is a country where 7.7 million people live with HIV and the prevalence of the infection among those aged 15 to 49 is 20.4 per cent of the population.<\/p>\n

While the latest news is good, it\u2019s still important to exercise caution and protect individuals who may have a compromised immune response.<\/p>\n

UNAIDS<\/a> has published a series of recommendations aimed at reducing the risk of coronavirus infection in people who are living with HIV.<\/p>\n
